The Davenport Hotel, located just off Merrion Square, has been successfully operating for a number of years. The Architect’s brief was to build on this quality impression and to better establish the identity of the hotel as a destination hotel in the city.
The key areas identified as opportunities where good quality design could improve the offer include full refurbishment of the bedrooms and corridors, re-design of front entry foyer and reception, re-organisation of lounge, bar, restaurant and kitchen, re-design of banqueting areas and function rooms, and refurbishment of lifts. The Architects are using some innovative ideas to allow the front of house areas to be reorganized to create a greater visibility in the locality and increase the hotel presence leading to increased revenue.
Versatile are pleased to have supported this exciting project by supplying all sanitary ware to the Davenport Hotel en-suites and public areas and a selection of tiles for the front bar.
