Located in the prestigious district of Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, Lansdowne Place has been dubbed Dublin’s most luxurious residential development, led by leading Irish developers, Chartered Land.
Setting a new standard of living in Ireland, the interior concept of this 215-apartment luxury residential development references nearby Georgian and Victorian properties in terms of proportions and finishes and is rich and contemporary in feel, with granite balconies, solid walnut units, marble or natural stone bathrooms and the most exclusive kitchens ever offered in the Irish residential apartment sector.
The 14m-high, three-storey marketing suite is now open for the phased selling of the development, with the first apartments ready in 2018, ranging from one-bed, two-bed and three-bed apartments to penthouses. The interior concept references nearby Georgian and Victorian properties in terms of proportions and finishes and is rich and contemporary in feel, with granite balconies, solid walnut units, marble or natural stone bathrooms and the most exclusive kitchens ever offered in the Irish residential apartment sector.
Ivan Gaine, Managing Director at joint agents, Sherry FitzGerald New Homes, added: “Lansdowne Place is the jewel in the crown of the Dublin residential market and since launching to the local market, in June 2017, has achieved over €100 million of sales, all of which have been off-plan. One of the standout sales was the exchange of a €6.5 million penthouse in the Blake Building, which set a new record for a private sale apartment in Dublin.”
Given the nature of this high-end development, it was clear that the designers would require suitably high spec, high quality products for the bathrooms, together with a supplier that could support the project with world-class service. They trusted Versatile to deliver on the high-end product and to present the solution and the service.
Versatile worked with the designers throughout the lengthy planning stages to achieve the desired vision and are delighted to have supported the execution of this cutting-edge luxury development. Versatile supplied an extensive range of sanitary ware, tiles and heating solutions, which facilitated a more consolidated and seamless approach rather than having to deal with numerous suppliers.
For the elegant bathrooms, high-end Dornbracht brassware was selected for its many benefits including the exquisite finishes, quality brass material, lifetime guarantee and from a logistics perspective, Versatile’s exclusive partnership with Dornbracht guaranteed sufficient supply to fulfil quantity requirements.
Tiles were also selected from Versatile’s extensive tile range. The designers on the Lansdowne Place project were interested in an alternative to natural limestone and were impressed by Versatile’s Italian tile manufacturers ability to replicate marble so incredibly well. While achieving the marble aesthetic, using a porcelain tile made it possible to create a bespoke tile size and colour specifically required for the project, which was guaranteed to be seamlessly replicated across the large-scale project. The selected tile was easier to install, allowed for fewer grout lines, matched up perfectly and ensures easy maintenance for the consumer.
Heated towel radiators from Versatile’s exclusive Zehnder range provide the finishing touch, offering both form and function with a contemporary polished chrome finish and designed to accommodate multiple towels.
