Showroom Sales Consultant/Advisor

Established in 1984, Versatile Group is a design-focused Irish distributor specialising in European designer bathroom & tile brands and technical heating, cooling & ventilation solutions.  This is an exciting opportunity to work with an expert team on top of its game at an award-winning destination showroom in Navan, Co Meath.

  • You will be working 40 hours per week with hours falling between Monday – Saturday with a day off during the week (shorter hours Saturday 10am – 5.30pm)
  • Greeting customers in person and providing one-to-one consultations as required
  • Working on customers’ projects from initial meeting in person/by phone/email through to quoting, answering queries, invoicing, and after-sale service
  • Working off your own initiative and understanding the importance of great customer service
  • Solving customers queries/issues in a timely and pleasant manner
  • Working in a dynamic and fast paced environment where reaching targets is vital
  • Working with Retail team to collectively exceed customer satisfaction
  • Excellent product knowledge & continued learning, which may entail travelling to European countries of manufacture


  • Customer Service experience is essential
  • Interior Design/Interior Architect qualification highly desirable
  • Previous showroom / retail experience desirable, particularly in home improvement / luxury goods
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy with customers to eventually work on your own client portfolio
  • Pro-active in sales approach / target driven
  • Inspiring / well presented / capable of working on own initiative with a requirement to advise customers on their interiors both on the technical and aesthetic aspects
  • We look for individuals who are passionate about customer service, are well-presented and are confident with communicating over the phone, in person and over email and be able to build rapport
  • Customer focused with a desire to provide our customers with first-class service
  • You will need to be confident with using a PC, including Word and Microsoft Outlook
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and reaching targets
  • Superior communication skills, organisational skills & some administrative abilities essentials
  • Desire for wanting to progress/career development
